The following documents will be requested, depending on the type of company:
EMBASSIES:
Photocopy of the ambassadors ID (MINREX ID)
Photocopy of the ID of the people in charge to go to Aerovaradero to pick up the pouch.
Letter of delegation signed by the ambassador who appoints the authorized personnel to carry out procedures in Aerovaradero, making reference on their roles within the Embassy.
In case the ambassador is not the one signing the contract, a letter of delegation should be provided by the person appointed to sign the contract. Such person should be authorized to carry out legal paperwork in Cuba. If valid, a photocopy of the official’s MINREX ID should be attached.
FOREIGN CLIENTS NOT ESTABLISHED IN CUBA:
Formal request of the service addressed to the company´s CEO, including the corporate résumé or that of the activities carried out by the Company in the implementation of air freight, etc., its website and all the information to support their request in front of the Committee of Business and Contracts of our Company.
Corporation Charter and Certification of Commercial Record of the Country of Origin.
Last update of the Board.
Last Audited Balance Sheet (Except for a recently created company) and Banking Balance containing the available money for the company to develop the activity.
Power of representation presented to a notary of such country by the Legal Representative of the company in a Public Deed in favor of the person (foreign or domestic) who will act on behalf of the company in the subscription of the contract. If the person is included in the Corporation Charter or the Bylaws, with sufficient and clear power to act on behalf of it, it will not be necessary to present the aforementioned Power.
All documents presented should be original or copies properly legalized either by the officials of the effectual bodies who issued them, or can be certified by the corresponding attorney, as long as such documents are verified and contrasted with the originals. Such action should be stated in the very copies or documents, with the signature of the aforementioned official.
All documents must be duly legalized by the Cuban consulate in such countries.
Once the application is presented to the Committee of Business and Contracts, and all presented documents are analyzed, if they are approved, it will be necessary to proceed to the formal registration of the legal documents of the company in the Cuban International Notary.
EXCEPTIONAL CASES FOR RENOVATION
Updating of the Board.
Banking Balance and Last Audited Balance Sheet (Except for a recently created company)
DOCUMENTS TO BE PRESENTED BY A NEW FREIGHT FORWARDER:
Business intent and Corporate Résumé of the company, including website and previous works in Cuba.
Business plan with the description of the business to execute, its characteristics, including the amount of tonnes they are proposing to send, typo of cargo and airline to be used.
Copy of the passports of the Board and people appointed to act on behalf of the company before Aerovaradero S.A.
Certification by the General Consulate of the Republic of Cuba in the country of residence signed by the Cuban consul.
Other documents to be considered important: certification of previous commercial relations with other Cuban companies.
Legal documents:
All original legal documents required to operate in Cuba should be verified and duly certified. These documents include:
Company charter, including the corporate purpose, its bylaws and its board and the issued power of representation authorizing people outside of the Board to negotiate on its behalf, it should be duly certified in the embassy, MINREX and officially recorded in a Cuban Notary.
Accrediting document of the person authorized to sign the Contact.
Certification of its Commercial registration of the country of origin, it should be duly certified in the embassy, MINREX and officially recorded in the Cuban Notary.
Banking endorsement including the account number and the available funds apart from the updated financial balance.
FOREIGN CLIENTS ESTABLISHED IN CUBA:
ID of the foreign representative established in Cuba, as signer of the contract.
Certification of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, when applicable, with the licences.
Resolution of the MINCEX with the relation of the products that will be subject to trade operations within the National Territory.
Certification of the inscription in the Central Customs Registry (If applicable).
Certification of the inscription in the Central Customs Registry (If applicable).
Simple copy of the Charter and Bylaws of the Commercial society or the duly legalized resolution authorizing the Company.
Copy of the power of representation stating the designation and faculties of the person acting on behalf of the company.
Banking endorsement containing its accounts, the bank they operate on and the Last Audited Balance Sheet (Except for a recently created company).
Last update of the Board.
Copy of the identification of the Employment Agency of the representatives who come to Aerovaradero to get the goods.
EXCEPTION FOR THE RENEWAL
Certification of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, when applicable, with its licences.
Resolution of MINCEX with the list of products subject to operation within National Territory.
Banking endorsement. Last Audited Balance Sheet (Except for a recently created company).
AIRLINES
Charter and Certification of the Mercantile or Commercial Register of the contry of origin.
Last update of the Board.
Last Audited Balance Sheet (Except for a recently created company) and Banking endorsement including the funds the company has to carry out the activity.
Power of representation issued with Notary of the country by the Legal Representative of the Company in Public Deed, on behalf of the person (foreign or domestic) acting on behalf of the company in the subscription of the contract. If the person is included in the Charter or Bylaws, with sufficient and clear power to act on behalf of it, it will not be necessary to present the aforementioned Power.
Permit by the Cuban Civil Aviation to fly to our country.

JOINT VENTURES
Legal Certification of the company certifying its legal status, issued by the empowered personnel.
Banking endorsement containing its accounts, and the bank they operate in.

Certification of the attorney, duly signed and stamped.
GOVERNMENT-RUN COMPANIES
Certification of the attorney, duly signed, stamped and updated.
ASSOCIATIONS (RELIGIOUS AND OTHERS)
Certification of Registry of the MINJUS.
Legal Capacity of the person signing the contract.
