Aerovaradero S.A. is pleased to announce the historic first air cargo transport carried out by Air China as part of its regular Beijing-Havana flight, inaugurated on May 17, 2024, with two weekly frequencies. This milestone, which marks a turning point in bilateral trade exchange, was made possible by the dedication and success of the teamwork across the entire Cuban aviation system. We want to express our sincerest gratitude to the distinguished presence of the Embassy of China in Cuba, the Representatives of Air China, the Authorities of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the Vice Presidents of CACSA, and our Minister of Transport, whose participation enhanced the significance of this event.

Air China’s initiative demonstrates its confidence in the Cuban market, while for our economy it represents a key tool in its dynamization. For Cuba, this reinforces the aspiration to consolidate itself as a strategic regional logistics hub, offering a direct and more efficient route for cargo transportation between the two countries.
